Low maintenance solo traveler
Posted Dec 28, 2022 on HomeAwayI just needed a place to eat, shower and sleep for a few days while I hiked outside Roanoke. This was perfect for my needs. Personally, having another person to share the space with me (including my significant other) would've been too crowded. The host was beyond kind and accommodating. Property was very clean, bathroom extra spacious given the size of the studio and the bed was pretty comfortable!
Be mindful though that the cooktop is essentially at the foot of the bed and the smell of food will linger so choose your meals carefully. Lovely experience for the price. Quiet at Christmas time , neighbor wise although it's easy to hear what's going on inside a unit even at reasonable volume levels. Thanks Agi!

Beautiful Place
Posted Oct 24, 2022 on HomeAwayProperty was exactly as represented. Host reached out to let us know she was available if we needed anything. Loved the location, central to everything we wanted to do. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful place, the fall color was amazing.

Studio?
Posted Aug 9, 2022 on HomeAwayA studio condo is never this small & cramped in my experience. Terrible layout. Only one uncomfortable chair wedged in between bed & wall. Would never recommend to anyone. No instructions how to use TV. If your not used to total streaming you would have difficulty. Bad experience

Thank you Richard for your comment and sharing your experience. I’m perplexed as to why you were surprised about the size, since it is in the description as well as I provided in the message exchange with you with all details about the studio.
The experience about this renter is very much mutual. He calls in highly demanding early check in and saying that he already knows how “the system works” (not sure what he meant by it). I had wonderful renters checking out in the morning. I informed Richard once the unit is ready just for the couple to arrive later that day. It was confusing why he called to get early access. I have responded to multiple requests and questions about the restaurants and amenities. Never received message asking how to use the TV.
After multiple messages and my responses in less than 10 min, renter admitted to “sometimes getting anxious about things”. Which is OK, therefore I wanted to make sure all questions are answered.
I’m sorry about your experience and I hope you will be willing to stay at least at one bedroom condo next time to accommodate your demands.
It is beautiful place to visit and come back to.

Great location!

Perfect for a long relaxing weekend
Posted Jul 10, 2022 on HomeAwayThe property was a good size and nicely equipped for our four day stay. I was happy find the room was very clean and well organized. Checking-in and out was a breeze. The host was friendly and very easy to communicate with. We loved the beach located only 7 minutes away at the state park and found eateries nearby. The property itself had a beach, pools, etc. Overall a great stay which will most likely lead to others in the future.

Wonderful 4th of July stay
Posted Jul 6, 2022 on HomeAwayPerfect stay for me and my husband. Able to watch fireworks from property. Nice pool and beach area for swimming. Restaurant food was amazing! Worth the cost.
Would definitely rent again
