“Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2.”

“We had a lovely long weekend. The kids enjoyed the swing, the big beach, and they thought the bunk beds were fun. The property was fully stocked with anything you’d want, clean, comfortable, and good water pressure. It was a bit rainy for our trip so we spent a couple days at the mall of America. On the nice days it was easy fishing right off the dock. Plus you are in a quiet part of the lake that was easy for paddle boarding/kayaking, but big enough to take the kids tubing if you choose to……

“We had the best time! The place is massive with so much space. The kitchen is wide open with a lot of counter space. Ann has everything labeled, so it was easy to find everything you needed. The rooms are decorated so cute with a theme for each one. The game room was a highlight for everyone. It has a pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, poker table, record player, bar, sofa, pacman game and so much more. The firepit area outside was really neat. “the house was lovely and well appointed we had everthing we needed. the mirage kayaks were a nice surprise we have one at home and really enjoyed peddling around the lake. even took a trip to the bait shop. view from the master bedroom was spectacular. we had a very nuce vacation and the dogs loved swimming in the lake. thank you for sharing your home. you are probably aware but if not the last railing is in need of some tightening and a couple of the stair protectors fell off. all in all we……

“Beautiful lake house on Long Lake. Owners were communicative and kind. We had a problem with check-in for 30 min due to the code for the front door was incorrect. Evolve email directions had the wrong code. We were able to reach owners within 30 min and were given correct code. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay immensely! Thank you !”

“The house was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. It has everything you'd need to feel at home. The yard is huge and nicely kept. The lake is beautiful. We were worried about the excessive heat warnings and the bunk houses maybe being too hot for the kids but both had AC (and good WiFI). Communication was excellent and we felt very welcome. “We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The well appointed cabin is very private and secluded, on a gorgeous stretch of Big Blake Lake. We rented the pontoon for all three days of our stay and the process was super slick. Gorgeous sunsets from the dock and a great screen porch for playing games in the evening. We saw loons, bald eagles, sand hill cranes, and deer. The lake wasn’t super busy which was nice. Megan was a great host and communicator. We can’t wait to return!”

“The leaves were exploding in color during our stay at Balsam Lake. The cabin was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We brought our canoe to explore the lake and we found some lovely wineries/breweries nearby. We would absolutely stay again!”

“We had our Christmas gathering at this beautiful home in Balsam Lake, WI. Plenty of room for 18 of us - large, comfortable bedrooms, large area for kids to play, and for us to all be together as well. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. Not the year for sledding, skiing, ice fishing or skating, but the park near by was a big hit for our grandchildren.”
