“This hotel is next to the hunter valley garden. The views outside the balcony is pretty good and I can see the sun rise in the morning. The room is big and comfortable. It has free wifi and it is stable. However, I think the bed is too soft for me.”

“I am regretful to book this hotel and find the host not friendly and not polite at all. - when i check in, i found that she just put her mobile on the chair and ignore my call ; - there is no free wine provided as mentioned in tripadvisor - the room inside is poorly decorated and small pool outside - the lounge is so small and the sofa is very uncomfortable - Everything included in the hotel is limited: only one microwave and two plates two cups. After using the microwave, the host blamed……

“Aesthetically, it is a charming old hotel with heaps of character. Evidence of some disrepair in the bedroom, hallways & communal bathroom let it down somewhat. Otherwise, my stay was very enjoyable. The staff were helpful & friendly, the room clean & well presented, & the bed comfortable. ”

“Located at side of Lake Macquarie. Must put Marks Point if you set GPS. The same highway number led us to a place 40 mins far away. Owner of motel is a friendly lady and give us valuable info of where to explore and eat. Will stay there again for future visits. Restaurant at Gunyah Hotel nearby is very good too.”
