"The Spa Hotel Runni is a great spa resort. The basic services are a Sauna in the locker rooms and 4 pools (3 jets, 1 swimming). The jet pools were cooler than I am used too, but may be the norm for Finland. We took the optional Smoke Sauna. This was great and worth the 15 euros. There were jacquizzis in the Smoke Sauna facility but they were not operational. It woudl be nice if those were available as well. My wife and I were in the old classic facility. "This is typical small town hotel in Finland. Nothing fancy but not too bad either. Once they finish renovations in the summer 2023 it's definitely best hotel to stay in Iisalmi. Other options are strange hippy hotel and some really worn down places. "

Great place for a ski holiday!
"The apartment was lovely. Perfect for a family of 4. The hotel information could be updated to provide clearer information about additional costs, like linens, transport from rail/airports, which train station is actually closest. A folder including I for on the area would be nice, too, for first time visitors to the area. Still, Markku provided information quickly when we emailed. "
