The beds were a little older and the uneven floors made it so we had to be a little creative with how we positioned ourselves in bed for sleep. The mountains were enjoyed throughout the day, the running water of the river drowned out the worries of the day, and our children enjoyed spending a good portion of our day outside on the property. “All furniture was so hard beside a chair couldnt sit on them beds same. We used air mattress from car so could sleep. Not on ruver but above river with a steep walkway made of tires leading to ruver. Property really needs maintenance. And electrical updated as it sparked when tried to plug in charger. Light switch neews wiggled to shut iff all light nit just half. Muddy and driveway was full of roots making hard to walk on. Floor was at 2 levels covered with carpeting making it unable to see……

“The A-frame itself was cozy and well-stocked, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. We slept very well up in the loft, with the sound of the Skykomish lulling us to sleep. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. But the real star of this show was the jaw-dropping scenery. To be surrounded by soaring jagged peaks and high forested ridges, with the turquoise river churning by, was awe-inspiring.”

“As with our previous visits, this one too was wonderful, even with an injured ankle. David was very good about checking to see how we were doing after I took a fall and ended up at the closest ER. He even paid us a visit the next day to offer any needed help. Because our flight back home wasn't for three more days, I fixed me a place in a recliner in front of the big picture window with a view of the river and mountains. What a restful place to be! “Wife and sister loved hot tub. Pictures online are exactly what we saw. Quiet neighborhood, slept well as beds were comfortable. First stay of this type for us as we were attending a wedding in the area. As others noted neighbor has messy property but we never saw them or heard them. Most houses are well kept. If I have a reason to go back I would stay again. Owner made sure I knew what I needed and was easy to contact. Overall good first home rental. Everyone seemed pleased with the place.”
