“The hotel missed our booking, we were offered a room where the previous guest had not reached the bathroom in time after too much beer with a distinct odor left in the room. As we could not stay in the piss saturated room we were giving the only spare room, a miniature 2,4 x 3 meters in size, somewhat challenging fitting two persons, two bikes and rather spacious panniers in there. The shared bathroom, shower and kitchen were ok.”

“My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at Sally’s restored church. She is absolutely a gem of a host! Sally was very easy to communicate with before check in, gave us some sight seeing recommendations during our stay, and was easy to work with to coordinate check out. The church looks exactly like the photos, which is always nice. The kitchenette is perfect for coffee and breakfast at home while enjoying the morning light through the stained glass windows. “No lighting outside the room so was a bit tricky finding the lock; washing machines not operating properly and didn't spin the water out of your clothes; information book said washing machines and dryers were free due to COVID but we still had to pay for the dryer; insufficient toilet paper in the room and had to go search for some from the shared facilities amenities room; empty handwash in the bathroom on arrival; a bleached hand towel so although clean it looked awful; hot water ran out in……

“We’re not notified of smaller cabin until after fees were deducted from card. The booking site said camp bed available on request but manager had no clue. My teenage son spent the nights in a swag that we bought with us. Cabin was 6x2m, not suitable for family of 4. Hot water not switched to full gas tank before we arrived. Wifi provided but didn’t work. Cupboards dirty, stains on pull out couch mattress cover and extra blankets unwashed and smelly. After 2 nights, we left a day earlier……
