“It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again ”

“Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Blinkbonnie Cottage sehr genossen! Die Ferienwohnung liegt abseits des Trubels an einem kleinen See. Und die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend schön. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet wir konnten den Urlaub gleich genießen. Im nahe gelegenen Killin kann man alles was man zusätzlich benötigt im Coop besorgen. Die Lage ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge als Familie mit Kindern! Wir waren in Stirling, Falkirk, Dundee, Oban und in den Highlands unterwegs. Wir……

“The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. ”

“A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before.”

“Beautiful place, hosts are just lovely, so accommodating and friendly. Hot tub and pool are very relaxing with the best of views from the hot tub. Only downside is the road up but it's worth it”

Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.”

“Das Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wirklich schön. Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber an einigen Tassen, Tellern und Schüsseln waren Essensreste. Aber haben wir dank der Spülmaschine schnell beseitigt. Ein Staubsauger wäre optimal, für zwischendurch. Der Blick auf den See ist perfekt, allerdings das Haus liegt es auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße und das Schlafzimmer an der Straße ist was für Frühaufsteher!!!!! Fazit: ok und Invarary ist wirklich nett.”

“The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Having the sauna was fantastic especially after a long day out. There is a lot do do around the area but do expect to drive here and there. “The Tarbet is a fine old building but has started to deteriorate, the room I requested was a Loch view but could barely see the loch for trees. I realise it had been raining but no excuse for the outside walls to be wet! The staff are pleasant and helpful and meals not bad with a good breakfast, just needs updating. ”
