“The cabin is situated in a nice quiet area. The amenities were just what anyone staying would need. It was very comfortable and fit our needs for our trip. The owners even contacted us to let us know we could check out later if we wanted! I would book this place again.”

“It was so Beautiful and Quiet! Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. We toured the area, saw 9 waterfalls, 2 state parks, 2 beaches, Lake Superior and a Pow Wow! Made a bunch of great memories! Having fires in the fire pit was definitely a highlight! Thank you very much for your hospitality!”

“We stayed here for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and same with the bathrooms. We’d recommend this to anyone, especially those wanting lakeside fun. There’s a beautiful pontoon for rent, a great dock and the water was clear and calm. We will return when we can stay longer. The property manager was a great communicator.”

“Loved the location -very quiet and off the beaten path, but close to Cable. Just a short walk from your door to the Birkebeiner trails for a beautiful walk or bike ride. It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen!”

“My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on……

“I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!”

“An amazing roomy clean and well stocked rental for a large group. There was 18 ppl (5 families) and never once did we feel crowded. Beautiful home, yard, beach. Communication with Kris was absolutely top notch. Thank you for providing this opportunity. We would HIGHLY recommend this property without hesitation.”

“This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”

“Kris was super responsive and helpful! The property is tucked away in a very peaceful corner right on lake Superior. We had a full house and it was definitely large enough to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended if you have a large group!”

“Our stay here was fantastic, just missed mud season which made it even better. Great outdoor lot as well here, roomy backyard for our K9's and frisbee, pretty private, fire at the pit, great lakefront to get down to via a static rope, lots of shoreline got explored! More than enough room inside the place, we only ended up using half of it! Well stocked with dishes, seasonings, towels, blankets, plenty of kitchen utensils (pots/pans/everything) sometimes you don't get this at vrbo's, paper……

“We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area. We stayed with two of us and our two pups. The pups adored the cabin and settled right in. The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin. We hiked two nearby trails, the Lakeshore……
