“This place was a DREAM!!! We had the best time here on my bachelorette. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Communication was great, and Eliaz helped us arrange golf cart rentals and groceries to be ready once we arrived. We are a close group of friends, so the open rooms for sleeping worked well for us, but other than the tree house room and separate guest house the rooms are open if that influences anyone’s selection. We had no issues with hot water and the AC worked well the throughout……

The home is better than advertised as it is hard to point out how comfortable you are as soon as you arrive. The pool is private and we especially enjoyed watching the tourists pass. The home is very comfortable and the Sonos music system is a great touch. “Came with a group of friends to celebrate birthdays. The house was beautiful and the location, with the views, was stunning. Its walking distance to several restaurants and bars. We did not feel the need for a golf cart. Taxis were quicker, when needed, and fairly inexpensive. Hank was on top of everything we asked and was a great help! Thank you Hank and Toto for making our trip amazing!”

“We had a wonderful vacation at Villa Tranquila! The house was spacious and well appointed. The rooftop deck and pool was an extra special spot for sunsets and sunrises. The property management company was very responsive to a few fixes that were needed.”

“My husband and I have been to Isla a few times in the past and have always chosen to stay on the south side of the island and have never regretted it. This time we stayed at Casa Mariposa and loved every minute of it. The privacy is amazing. We spent lots of time in the pool, up on the roof, and taking impromptu naps in the cool air conditioning. “The location was awesome! Looking right out at the Caribbean is priceless, able to search for sea glass was a plus! Walking distance to some food and drinks! We did have a small issue with the pump needing to be replaced and it was taken care of in a timely manner.”

“Beautiful and spacious, this house was just exactly what we were looking for during our week at Isla Mujeres. Everything worked flawlessly. Our family of 4 had more than enough room, and everyone felt very relaxed in the nicely-furnished rooms. “We went to Isla for a week with 2 other couples and stayed at Casa Carey. It was a perfect house for our group. It is decorated very tastefully, clean, with an amazing view being on the Caribbean side with a pool. Even though we didn't cook, since there are so many great restaurants on Isla, the kitchen was well equipped. Sophia and her staff were excellent. She arranged for golf carts to meet us at the ferry for the week and was always responsive to our questions. We would definitely recommend……

“Right in the middle of downtown; everything is within walking distance. Normally when we go to Isla we get a golf cart but didn’t have to by staying here. This place is close proximity to the ferry and the marina if you want to go on a fishing trip. If you get a chance go to the Tiny Gecko Bar, which is on the boardwalk, great guacamole, food and cheap beer. Restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores are all within easy walking distance. “The house is right on the beach and the crashing waves beautifully drown out any traffic noise, so you magically forget about the world behind you (the windows are also soundproof btw). Chema, who checked us in, was super helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had during our trip. There was a welcome basket with lots of goodies, which was a really nice touch and much appreciated and there were 4 gigantic fresh water bottles for the water fountains (one on each floor). “The home felt like our own, the front garden entrance welcomes you with serenity, the ecofriendly combinations inside and outside the house are beautiful. The house obligates you to become one with the blue ocean once inside. Every room allows the breeze to flow ( even inside the showers ). “The property was a great size and location for us and we generally really liked it for our stay. The only slight issue was the quality of the decked area outside which was a bit rotten in places which made it a bit dangerous. However, we did love it and would defintely stay again. The cat was a character and stayed with us when we were outside.”

“Casa Los Tres Chiles was just as advertised and more. It was spotless yet tastefully decorated. It was in a great location close to restaurants and not far from Centro. Six of us slept comfortably and had a great time by the pool each day and evening. The host was great! The one little negative was that the water in the main shower sometimes didn’t warm up appropriately. All other bathrooms were fine. Will stay again!”

I rely on fellow renters for honest reviews, so here’s mine. Pros: Great location and amazing view of ocean from patio/pool. Easy to flag taxis out front. Filtered tap in kitchen + ice machine.
