Such an amazing property , it gives you that authentic costa rica feel. The staff is amazing, very accommodating and friendly, breakfast was amazing. Pumilio is just hands down a great place to stay !

Service was great, people were great, the rooms were clean, only problem was it smelled very very very musty.

Our food order wasn’t the best and very pricey but the breakfast was good and it was quiet. The hot tub took forever to fill and was never really that warm. Bed was super comfortable and the AC/fan worked great. Staff was froendly

The overall property layout was cute with a luxury feel. The staff was helpful and very nice. I traveled for my 31st birthday and they gifted me a bottle of Cava which was wonderful. I was in contact with them before my stay and they helped me planned my activities prior to my arrival. The breakfast was AMAZING! I stayed in room 31 which was the suite with the hot tub. The air worked really well. A few callouts I believe that are worth the investment to better the guest experience. A few of the white towels did have stains, the walls were dirty and needed paint touch ups, the headboard on the bed was cracked/broken on both sides. Shower hinges, heads, rails/slide door were rusted with slight mold. I loved the overall layout of the suite and with those few minor improvements/adjustments this place has the potential to be one of the best in Jaco, Costa Rica. Looking forward to staying here again and hopefully the property takes my recommendations into consideration because I would love to stay here again

Another great getaway at Hotel Pumilio. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. We love that the location is away from the crowds but still minutes from Jaco beach or Herradura. This was our 2nd stay this year and 6th stay overall. Can’t wait to visit again!
