We didnt get a chance to use the golf cart, but utilized the hottub while we were there. Note than pleased with the size of the place and the quite neighborhood. You can't beat the location - the town and beach are both two blocks away. And the owner was a pleasure to deal with - very flexible with check-in and check-out, very helpful, and very communicative. “We had an awesome time. We ordered pizza from Sweetwater and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the water …what a view! We also had Joyce come out and teach us a craft which was very fun. Saturday for lunch was chicken from Jeff’s delicious. Over all all 9 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the place.”

“Property manager was awesome and very attentive. Was looking for a calm, quiet, peaceful place that was next to the lake. This trip was a gift to myself. Traveling by myself, I felt extremely comfortable and safe. Loved the large porch with table, and the customized welcome sign next to the front door. As soon as I walked in, I lit up with excitement. Everything about the place was inviting and gave me that warm, at home feeling. Pictures posted are accurate and up to date. I would definitely……

“Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond.”

“We love the Lake Huron/Thumb area. The lake is peaceful and so many cute hidden neighborhoods. This cottage is perfect for a getaway. Open floor plan and plenty of space for everyone.”

“Comfy, cosy, clean, beautiful decor. That’s what you see when you first walk in. Then you explore all the treasures that have been collected and tastefully placed in this home. Lots of love…that’s what it’s been given. The view of the lake from the foyer with its many windows is lovely as you sit at the beautiful little antique table and take it all in…”

“This was perfect for our family getaway over Labor Day weekend. We had three different families that stayed (16 total) and plenty of space for all. The pool area was where we spent most of our time. It had everything we needed (fire pit, fridge, chairs, tables, and beautiful pool). A festival was going on during the weekend and it was so much fun to be able to walk a few blocks and enjoy the music, farmers markets and Lake Huron. I would highly recommend staying here with a larger group.”

“We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions……

“Amazing view ”

“I stayed here to visit with family in town so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. That being said, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. I literally did not want to get out of bed the first morning! My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough towels for a multiple night/person stay. They only clean every few days (which is fine and I could have called the office for more) but please leave enough towels initially. I didn't eat the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. I……
