“The room was outstanding, clean in every way and stocked with additional pillows and blankets for the stay if needed. The view from the balcony was terrific, watched fishing boats in the morning with a cup of coffee... very peaceful and relaxing and just what you would want on a vacation. I would highly recommend a stay here.”

“We came for the Birkie, and LOVED staying in this spacious lovely Inn. Beds were comfy, kitchenette was very functional, and nice open space (windows with lovely with view of land and full moon while we were there). Kelly and Mark were so very friendly and made our stay feel like we were "at home." Great area to walk, fresh air, cute animals (horses, donkeys, outdoor cats and a dog - all very friendly!). “I have to admit I chose this house because first there were not a lot of choices and secondly there were 8 great reviews. The pictures are accurate but do not capture the charm factor! This house was wonderful! Yes it is an older home but when you walk in you can sense the love and care that has gone into its upkeep. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. “Good location for anyone wanting a middle of town walkable get away. We were looking for a little bit of everything, lake views, near food, near shopping, acess to Superior lake walking trail, and this place fulfilled. Nice natural lighting. For being a smaller space it felt large. Basic kitchen tools helped make the kitchen feel practical to use. Loved the bonus coffee!”

She recommended we try to catch the mind blowing Northern Lights and had her sister deliver the most delicious “welcome ice cream”! They recommended some hikes we had not done other times in the area as well! The cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything you would need including firewood and in a great location!!
