“We had a lovely stay. The cottage is charming and perfectly appointed. It is comfortable and full of amenities. We wanted a place that was located in a beautiful setting so that we can relax, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of Lake George and beyond and this location fit the bill. Tom was very gracious and responsive. He made sure everything was perfect for our trip. Would love to come back!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture……

“This was a 5-day, large family, vacation. There were a few minor issues, but nothing we couldn't overcome. We absolutely loved the location. There were a couple of days that we didn't even leave the property. The mosquitos were horribly, horribly bad! We went through a lot of insect spray and tiki torch fuel, but we were prepared for them. Thanks, Lisa”

“The property was pretty amazing. It's 52 acres - we basically had an entire side of the mountain to ourselves. The photos don’t do the house justice. The view of the lake is really breathtaking. It is large, comfortable and peaceful. It"s close to the village and route 9 where so many of the area attractions and restaurants are located. The owner and staff were easily accessable when we had a question. Really enjoyed this place....it was reminiscent of our long since sold childhood Adirondack cottage! “Directly on the lake, you can walk out onto your own private peninsula, fish (I caught two bass in ten minutes), or just enjoy the lounge chairs or couples swing while gazing at the pristine lake or soaking up the fire we made in the brand new fire pit. “Very cute cozy and comfortable spot! Close to Lane George but also secluded enough to enjoy! We stayed for Columbus day weekend and it was definitely the end of the season. The pool area looked fun and welcoming but was closed already (which is ok it was too cold anyways). We were one of few people on the property and felt like it was very dark and not maintained but with our flashlights we were fine. The cabin was clean comfy and cozy we popped the breaker a few times turning heaters on but……

“My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! The property is super fun-landing somewhere between a small farm and nature compound kind of feel. We were only there a couple days and spent the majority of the time out and about because……
