“Beautiful property and lovely hosts. Only 10 minutes from St Andrews. ”

“The location was fantastic with great views of the ocean and it was a quick walk into town. Pam was a great host and very helpful and her breakfast menu was varied and tasty with lots of options. The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. The only slight negative was the size of the room..a little small for our luggage but we managed. Apart from that I would highly recommend it for a stay at……

“We had a 2 night stay whilst visiting relatives in the area and Matt gave us a lovely room overlooking the sea.Very comfy bed and nice shower.We had fresh cooked breakfast both days which was also very nice.There are 2 restaurants and a pub locally that we visited that were good.Would stay with Matt again when next in area hes a lovely host”

“Staying at Cambo is an unforgettable experience. When everyone else goes home, you get to stay and wander the beautiful grounds and spend the night in one of the historic rooms. The service is wonderful, the breakfast is huge and delicious (get the porridge!), and the bed was comfortable. I also loved being able to go for run through the property and directly to the sea in the morning! ”

“Fantastic place to stay in great surroundings - rooms very clean and had everything we needed, games room with full sized snooker table in was great to play on, and we made use of the hot-tub as well. Our room was a shared bathroom, but it is only shared with one other guest room as the third room on offer has an en-suite, so it wasn't an issue for us. Hosts very friendly, giving advice on the area and even preparing a flask of hot water & tea/coffee to take with us for the day, as well as……

“Lovely cottage, modern fittings and original features blended well. Well equipped and a convenient location. Shame the galleries in the village weren’t open as it was out of season and limited eating out options. Local people friendly and helpful. Would go again”
