“Ein Haus, gebaut 1925, was sehr gemütlich ist. Das Alter des Hauses ist überall präsent, das muss man beachten. Wer etwas modernes sucht, wird hier nicht fündig. Gegenüber ist eine Lodge, gebaut 1909. Auch hier ist das Alter nicht übersehbar. Nettes Personal und gute Getränke sind hier selbstverständlich. ”

“We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!”

“It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views.”

“This is the best place we have been till date around Sequoia and we loved it. The host was wonderful and the cabin has everything that you need and more. The host was kind enough to keep some food as a backup as places close early around. They checked-in with us incase we need anything throughout the stay. All EV car people, yes there is a 110 outlet outside if you need provided you have the adapters. We would definitely come back here as this feels like our perfect vacation home around that……

“We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited. If you plan on cooking, which you likely will as there is only 1 restaurant option nearby, stop in Fresno on……

“Nice place to sit on the porch and watch the birds and wildlife. Cabin is very cold as far as touches, cookware very old, few utensils, nothing else. Bed is good. Outside is great.”

“Our stay at The Ranch met and exceeded all of our expectations. Kori and Paul were amazing down to earth hosts. They opened up The Ranch to us like we were family. We stayed at the Loft and especially enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with extraordinary mountain views and our evenings spent stargazing without the normal light wash that too many of us experience. Sequoia National Park entrance was minutes from the Ranch. If you've never seen those Giants up close and personal, you need to!……

“My family of 7 just visited Sequoia National Park for the first time, which was amazing. But we were recommended to visit Mineral King, which we had never heard of. WOW..it all I can say about Mineral King, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, (i've traveled all over the world). This house is located on a hill top above the river which is a perfect location to visit both parks. You can hear the river at night and see 'Moro Rock Dome' from all the windows facing East. This house……

“This is an absolutely charming cabin. The furnishings were so comfortable and high quality. The owners were very easy to communicate with. A walk around the neighborhood is a must to experience this incredibly special historical community. Great location for exploring both King's canyon and Sequoia. Great collection of DVDs which made for fun family movie nights after we spent the day hiking and exploring. Kitchen was very well equipped, linens were soft. Water is ice cold and delicious mountain……

“Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens.”
