“This was our second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. Just 30 mins drive from Edinburgh, and 10 mins from the Pentland Hills it's perfect for both a city and country break. Extremely dog friendly too with plenty of space to run around outside. All communication was clear and timely, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, lovely note and flowers. We will certainly try and return for a third stay in future.”

“Our business group (and spouses) enjoyed a marvelous retreat at the Hope Scott Wing at Abbotsford. We'd seen the general pictures of Abbotsford, which are stunning. But, we were particularly and pleasantly surprised to find our VRBO accommodations at the Hope Scott Wing to be excellent! The house is both comfortable and impressive. And, Donald and Diane (our contacts at Abbotsford) were extremely helpful in setting up this visit, including great suggestions as to things to do in the area,……

“Our family of four stayed for five days and saw historic sites all around the borders. We enjoyed the space and the ever changing view from the big windows. The photos can’t really show how spacious and bright it is at Five Turrets! Beautiful!”

“A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark.”
