“Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a cozy fireplace, a comfortable bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and many other extras. We were fortunate with the weather and spent most of the evening time outside enjoying a BBQ and the massive firepit. “What an amazing cottage. Dont know where to begin. The cottage is lovely and cosy. There was an amazing welcome pack upon arrival with the most delicious scones & shortbread amongst other things. As the title suggests theres better things to see than watch TV. Within an hour of arrival we were visited by a red squirrel who along with 2 others kept us entertained for the week. “Smithy Cottage is a perfect place to stay for a small family or group of friends that want to explore Scotland. It is very cozy and comfortable. The location is only a short drive from the A9 and you are able to easily go in any direction to explore. There’s a small shop next door that is great for getting a drink or small snack.
