"It’s about a 15 mins walk to the hotel. The external and internal are fine. But the MOO fish men market is outdated and few stalls open. A good one over night stay for catching a early coach to Lake Akan tomorrow."

"Smile Hotel is a good standard with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The laneways behind are interesting and fun for Izakaya but Kushiro central city is no longer busy and very run down."
