“My husband is 6 foot seven and 290 pounds so we weren’t sure at first if we pull out bed couch with memory foam with accommodate him or comfortable, but we actually had a great night sleep every night. We also slept with the windows open and the screen door because the owners have planted fruits and Jasmine and they smell incredible all night. The air was perfumed. It’s a darling spot and if you have a big, tall man in your life, he will feel right at home too. Tall ceiling as well and we loved……

“This property is a little gem among the bigger condos. Lovely landscaping for each unit. Small kitchen but has everything you need. Walkable to dining options and to the beach area. Would definitely come back again in the area. ”

“Just a great place to stay. Terrific private space above the rental shop. Clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Interactions with the host were easy and friendly. Sharon made accessing the kayaks easy. Just a short walk to an amazing beach to walk, kayak and snorkel. Highly recommended!”

“The house was perfect for our group of ten. 2 min walk to the beach. Bedroom descriptions are off...should be 1 king in master upstairs, 1 queen upstairs, 1 queen downstairs with a twin, and 4th bedroom has 3 twins. It was still perfect for us. Tub in master bath does not work, hot water handle is disconnected. Back yard is like a jungle oasis...gorgeous. Light switches are difficult to navigate. Very good pots and pans. Even with the small quirks, the home was perfect for us.”

“Cute home moments walk away from the ocean and tidal pool adventures. Short drive to La Jolla Shores Beach for great swim, surf, SUP and beach time for the whole family to enjoy. Kitchen has most of basic needs for a small family. Kids bed arrangement best for small children - our 7 year old was able to use - our older children used the couch to sleep at night. Huge washer and dryer - a delight for road trips! Really appreciated supply of laundry and kitchen detergents - sufficient to get……

“Wow! This property has everything! Spectacular house with a casita in a fabulous location! The amenities are wonderful and the host was very communicative. My whole family loved staying here, and my 85 year old parents enjoyed the privacy of the casita. Would definitely book again!”

“Everything was amazing. It is not quite what the pictures show but still great. Know that the back bedroom upstairs is accessed through the bathroom with the shower and closet. Have close people in the other room with you. The beds were wonderful, soft, and clean. There was a rug thrown in the closet that I believe went under the table. Some sand in the corners, and the floor is a little sandy, But to be expected. I would stay there again.”

“A few comments on the property to help others in the future: 1) the property is a bit dated - not all of the window cranks work, furniture has covers over it, upstairs carpet is stained in a few spots, sliding door screens fall off the track and don't slide well, 2) there are a number of family pictures and photos that some may find a bit weird, 3) the upstairs master bed is NOT a King but a Queen and needs to be replaced - it squeaks and is not comfortable, 4) the pool is shaded for more than……

“The house is clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is about a 10 minute walk from the beach. There is a small putting green and ping pong table outside which made for good entertainment.”

“We loved everything about our stay here. The location is perfect...just steps from the ocean. And since it can get busy there, the garage parking was very convenient. Everything was in great condition, the bed was very comfortable, and the owner was flexible and quick to respond. We'll definitely be staying here again.”

“Pros: -Great Location! Good restaurants within walking distance, liquor store, butcher shop, bagel shop. Most importantly the Windnsea beach! -Great view from rooftop -Hot tub has a fun little grotto feel, perfect for 2 people. -Game room is a nice touch complete with Laundry! -Roku System was useful for evening movie viewing -Tiny but mighty kitchen Cons: -Pictures need to be updated, especially the rooftop. There is no hammock, just two Adirondack’s, 2 loungers, a fire pit, a small gas grill……
