“This property was everything that was expected and more. The grounds and marina are beautiful and expertly groomed. The staff at the marina were at the ready for anythimg we needed. The Beach bar team were so friendly and inviting. As for the houseboat we rented it was wonderful and spotless. Truly an amazing experience. We also enjoyed that there was a lot to do within walking distance. We can see many anniversaries to come being spent here.”

“Place is cute. Things they could be better: there were crumbs under the couch cushions and under the bed in the master was dirty. Also. No hand soap in the bathrooms and no trash bags for the kitchen. Over all good though and would stay again.”

“The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was great that we could walk across the street to the beach and enjoy the amenities of the Akwa Marina and Beach Club. The house was set up well and had AC throughout. We would definitely stay there again as it had a New England rustic charm.”

“Overall, great place to stay. Kitchen/living room area is really small/tight for the amount of people the space can hold. Really liked the little fireplace. Laundry on site was nice. The not bad but not great: The pool was supposed to be open until the end of Sept according to the listing but it was already closed by Sept 27 and host didn't let us know. Was a bummer for the kids. Bathroom photos say toiletries are available but only hand soap at the sinks was provided. The beds, esp the twin……

“This place was absolutely perfect for our long weekend getaway. We loved how accommodating they were for our dog, and the walk out back yard was perfect! Our son loved the bunk beds, and our bed was very comfortable. The layout makes the kitchen, living room, and dining room spaces feel connected and flows nicely. They also had a bunch of DVD’s available which was so kind as we had an unexpected rainy day. It’s so close to so many things! We spent a lot of time at Fun Spot and Weirs Beach, and……

“We really enjoyed our stay here for Labor Day Weekend! The space was exactly as described, and the view from the back porch was just perfect! We walked down to the Weirs Beach boardwalk area for dinner, and it was a short drive (or long walk) to the beach from the condo. We look forward to staying here again in the future!”

“This is a very secluded house, to the point that even Google couldn't find it.... (Use Waze or Apple maps, although it's not that far from where Google will lead you.) The house was ready for us and Mike even allowed us to enter prior to the official check-in time. We took advantage of the kayaks daily, as well as the fire pit (bring/buy/collect firewood). The water in front of the house isn't swimmable, but if you row the kayak for 5 minutes, you'll go past the water lilies. We've reported a……

“An interesting choice for staying in Laconia. There must be ten churches within eyesight from this property! Nice walking trail along the adjacent canal. A bit scetchy to walk down Main Street on a Friday night. Walgreens, Dunkin’, and Cumberland Farms within walking distance. ”

“Great hotel. A bit old. Could use refreshing. Knobs in the bathroom were leaking water. Otherwise, largely positive experience.”

“That you had your own suite and own deck. Everything was clean and neat they supplied dishes soap sponge and laundry detergent plus dishwashing stuff. Overall 10/10 recommend very pleased. ”
