“Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2.”

“We stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful. Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One……

“We really enjoyed our stay here. We had four families + 2 dogs in our group and there was enough space for all of us to hang out together or spread out when needed, and the yard was great for the kids and dogs to run around. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals (except foil and ziploc bags, we brought our own just in case) and several games were provided to use. We were fairly close to grocery stores/gas stations for last minute needs. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. One……

“The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. ”

“We loved the cottage and will be back again. We loved how everything in town is in walking distance, and there are so many places to see angst things to do within 30 minutes. We were in town for a high School bass tournament. There is plenty of room for a boat and trailer, and external outlets on the garage to charge overnight.”

“It is a beautiful house! Everything looks neat and is a warm welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the front porch even though it was a wet and rainy weekend. Tried to light the propane fire table but could not get it to stay lit without continuing to hold the dial in. We all enjoyed the entire house.”
