“The tub was VERY slippery when I stepped in, like conditioner had not been rinsed away. The shower head wand (I was in a wheelchair accessible room) kept sliding down and wouldn’t stay in place. There was no countertop in the bathroom, either. Plenty of room, though! The room itself was clean and spacious. ”

“Hotel in need of some updates, but otherwise not too bad. I liked the courtyard area, it felt safer than just a porch or landing where anyone can walk right up. Lots of security cameras as well. Disappointed that the pool was not filled, but it is only the second weekend in May. (The kids and I were hoping to swim and was part of the reason we booked this one.) Lots of noise outside in the courtyard because of a major highway nearby but the rooms do filter the noise. The key to the outside door……

“The only thing I don't like is that every time I stay the housekeeper always wakes me up very early trying to clean the room always before 9:00 am when check out is supposed to be at 11:00 am. ”

“My buddy and I had a guided fishing trip Wed. morning at 7:00 on lake Tawakoni. We decided we would get a room close to the lake. We both got a good nights sleep and made it to the lake in plenty of time. The room was clean and quite---the only bad thing was their road is in really bad shape.”

“Nice little cabin but the pictures are deceiving. Makes it look like there are two rooms and a kitchen. Ours was just one room with a mini fridge and microwave. I think you just get whatever room is available. They also said the restaurant (snack bar) was open until 7 and it was already closed at 6:40. Other than that the facility was nice and great family setting with lots of things to do. ”

“I recommend this place. If you have questions someone is there to answer. I also recommend eating at the quack shack breakfast and lunch was great! The cabins were pretty cool it wasn’t hot in them.”

“My buddy and I stayed for four days because we were going to fish lake fork. The cabin was very nice and right outside the door a great view. It was very peaceful and quiet. Everything went real smooth, and the host was very gracious and informative. I would definitely stay again.”

“Week stay for extended family of 20 people ranging from 2 to 64. Separate rooms with bathrooms and individual A/C for all family groups was awesome. Multiple living/seating areas. We rented a pontoon boat for the week which was kept on property. Fished. Swam. Played indoor and outdoor games. Brought pool for toddlers. A few brought bikes and took daily bike rides on property. It was HOT - July trip - but the water activities helped. We brought our own fryer and had a fish fry with fish we……
