“We were very pleasantly surprised by so many things about our stay. We enjoyed the pool which was clean, warm, and well stocked with balls and pool noodles. The community room with a pool table, foos ball and shuffle board table was a fun surprise. In the home, the bathroom was new and very clean, the dining area was nice, the bedrooms were very good, and the family room was great. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the kitchen because the oven had such a bad odor that……

“This little cabin was exceptionally clean, very inviting and well appointed. The temperpedic beds were a nice and a comfortable surprise - cozy, as they are full size mattresses. Very quiet surroundings. This is a perfect place for rest, reading and relaxation.”

“We came for a sporting event in the area and wanted a nice quiet place to rest our heads. We found it! Close enough to everything you need, but tucked away that you feel like you are on your own "island." The place had plenty of space for the 2 of us (even more people would have plenty of room). We got a great recommendation for dinner for my husband's birthday. Checking in and seeing a Happy Birthday Balloon with local syrup was just the absolute added touch!!! Very sweet. We would stay again!”

“Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future.”

“Beautiful home and property. Enough room for multiple families to stay under one roof. Plenty of dry firewood is available for the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The large property was nice and private and the trails were nice if anyone wanted to get some walking in. We stayed in the winter so didn't use the beach but we saw how the private beach would be a lot of fun for families with younger kids.”

Being near public hunting grounds was a huge bonus for us as well. The cabin was spacious for three adults and a teenager, providing ample room for everyone. The overall experience was great, and we highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to enjoy nature and have a memorable time in the woods.”
