“We absolutely loved our stay at Chris’s cabin! It was very large and perfectly located in this little end of a cul-de-sac. Even though there is a hill behind the cabin, I felt very safe having my kids play out front on their own. The view is spectacular, it’s very private and so comfortable. Chris was amazing at communicating all the details about our stay and I had a nice conversation with him before we left to make sure we were all set to go. There is even a little patch of snow out in front……

“This was a cute place and we only had to drive 7 minutes to get to the snow. The listing says there is a third bedroom with a sleeping couch but most won’t fit that sleeping couch. We still managed to fit our whole party in the 2 bedrooms, but it was tight.”

“Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided. Living room furniture is feather stuffed and we saw the occasional floating feather here and there. Couches and……

The lockbox was difficult to open and there was no light on outside the door, but the beds were comfortable and the host had left lots of extras for guests which was nice. There was no pool or lake view. There was a big step up into the bathroom which could be a problem for some. Overall, we were good with the accomodations.”

“The good: The neighborhood, the cleanliness of the house and the ease of checkin/ checkout, plus the very detailed instructions for the reservation/ great communication The not so good: This house is occupied by a family, so it is not a normal vacation rental. Their clothes are there, family photos everywhere, their food in the refrigerator, etc. There is only one bedroom that has full privacy (the master), the other is a child’s room, with his pictures and belongs all over the place, that……

“We had a wonderful family time. Place is clean and roomy. Location is very scenic and relaxing. Minor inconconvenience is the cellular and wifi connection, or lack thereof. Also could use more pots and pans. Providing guest card/pool card also would be helpful (as the pool cashier is not so very friendly). We didnt let any of those ruin our time together though. Family still enjoyed the stay and are planning on coming back in the future. Thanks, Sheryll”
