“Like the bracelets. Convenient way to get in and out of the room. Hassle free ordering food, checking in & out. Wish there were more indoor activities though, it was quite gloomy when we stayed so nothing much to do when in the hotel. But I love the peace & quiet. Very nice hotel. Overall, we loved our room, the staff and the hotel. ”

“My only drawback was the kids after midnight jumping off the fountain into the pool. It just seemed like there was less security. ”

“Room is decent size and comfortable. Right next to an excellent cafe. Our room smelled of the cleaning solution they use to disinfect surfaces. Road noise is loud for rooms on the highway; select a room off the highway if possible, but was light during sleeping hours. Staff friendly - did not wear face masks. ”

“La Jolla resort is like your own private paradise in Islamorada. On the Gulf side with beautiful sunsets and very friendly staff. Pool was warm and room was just perfect for me and my wife so simlpe but plentiful. ”

“Great location with friendly staff. Hot water was nonexistent for our three day visit. Lock on sliding balcony door would not lock. Would stay here again in spite of these conditions.”

“I stayed here for one night after leaving Sugarloaf key, to be nearer friends and also the Miami airport. It was wonderfully appointed (room), clean and totally updated. Great view with a balcony too! ”

“The 2BR ocean view unit is large with a large wrap around deck with gorgeous view and a kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out and beds are comfortable. The shower could use some caulk and looked a little brown in the seams. The bolt lock on the door didn’t work but we didn’t have safety concerns. Breakfast is super basic but better than nothing. Great location and nice to watch people fishing right off the dock and going in and out of the marina. ”

“We stayed at this hotel several times. It is very nice, It’s nice that they have a separate area for adults. They also have 3 in house places to eat, a tiki bar for lunch, a roof top for breakfast and bar in the evening and a restaurant for dinner (didn’t go to this one though). They include free paddle boards and kayaks. The rooms could have better A/C, they added another portable fan and seem to be having issues with A/C, hopefully will be resolved soon. Also they don’t have room service……

“This was my 4th stay at the hotel. I gave this location a 5 star, it has everything I needed for a bae cation. Quiet and peaceful. If you need to get away for the world this is the perfect spot. No complaints hear 💕💕💕 Edgewater lodge”

“We had never stayed at this resort before, but were very pleased with all the amenities, especially the pool and the on-site restaurants and bars. Our view from our room was gorgeous and the service was excellent. We will be staying there again!”
