“The Tarbet is a fine old building but has started to deteriorate, the room I requested was a Loch view but could barely see the loch for trees. I realise it had been raining but no excuse for the outside walls to be wet! The staff are pleasant and helpful and meals not bad with a good breakfast, just needs updating. ”

“We loved our stay in our Lake View Executive Suite. The view of Loch Lomond was beautiful and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. The front desk staff members were incredibly kind, helpful, and polite. ”

“The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. Perhaps this was just something unusual because I told the staff, that I could not use the wifi due to low strength and constant disconnection.”

“George hotel locates in a lovely town with good scenery. Our room is big and clean. We spent a couple of good nights our room and it’s nice restaurant. ”

“A beautiful place at a lovely location. The lodge is situated on the lake with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is well deserving of its 4 star rating by the tourist bureau. I jist we had more time to stay longer and enjoy the activities.”

“Stayed overnight as had a trip on sea plane next day. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Popped over to pub opposite for evening meal. Was delicious. A pint of guinness was also partaked. Breakast next morning in the same location, also excellent and good choice. ”

“I was a Wednesday night stop, so it was peaceful, clean room in a pub with pub grub. I have dietary issues so had breakfast at Skoosh up the road. ”

“We had the family room which had lots of space, and a table, and 2 full bathrooms! Check in was easy and there were plenty of parking options. ”
