“The small boutique hotel is very charming and quaint. Don’t expect the pool you see on the cover photo. That pool with columns does not exist. Instead, the pool is about 3 feet deep and a small square. There was very loud music that stared at 6:00 AM on a Sunday morning from across the street. You could feel the base through the mattress. Also, be prepared for load barking dogs. They have ear plugs in the room for a reason. We enjoyed ourselves, but you should know everything before you book.”

“Beautiful small boutique hotel with just a few casitas, pool, hot tub, close to the beach but not too close to avoid the crowds. The staff were all very friendly and the grounds are very well taken care of. The place has good Wi-Fi and filtered water. We would definitely come back and are even thinking about doing a family reunion here. Highly recommended.”

“The property is nice enough, but rooms were a bit Spartan, and could use some artistic and homey touches. Nice location near cafes and bars. Lots of construction in area. Walkable to beach. ”

“Lovely property. Unit was very comfortable for our family. More of a home rental than a hotel in terms of service though. Office has limited hours which was a problem when the one roll of toilet paper provided for three days ran out in the middle of the night!”

“Loved the plunge pool right outside the bathroom! Beautiful garden views with the big glass doors and windows and the incredibly comfy bed and sheets made for a great stay! Walking across the street to the beach is a great bonus and this is my favorite, friendly place to stay at Cerritos Beach! ”

“Truely an amazing lodge. Greeted with kindness and treated like one of the family. I was a little weary on arrival to the lodge because I had gotten stuck in the sand while surfing in el pescadero. The owner was comforting, patient and very helpful. He offered help in carrying my luggage, showed me where the hose was to rinse my feet and gave me a cool baja69 sticker at check out. The kind and compassionate lady took my photo for her website when I was leaving. Very cool atmosphere, convenient……
