“We really liked the hotel. What a great location! We had a room #215 overlooking the lake. Could see the lighthouse and the SS Badger coming and going. Our room had a 2 person jacuzzi tub as well. Also a balcony which was nice.”

“The hotel was close to the beach and the lighthouse. Very convenient. The only disappointing thing was that it seemed like the bathroom floor wasn’t wiped down properly as there was hair behind the door and underneath the heater. ”

“I cant say enough positive things about our experience with the staff at Stearns. We were in town for a wedding doing hair all day. We needed to check in to the hotel early to get ready . There was a mistake on my part in booking and they went out of there way to get us in the right room. I will definitely stay and recommend them. They went way above and beyond to accommodate my mistake.”

“Everything was better than expected from the cottage to the weather. We had our Golden Retriever with us there were two beautiful beaches there we could take her off leash and let her swim, one worth checking out is Butterville Park/Beach about 15-20 minutes away. Everything we needed was within 20 minutes of the cottage. John was a great host and answered any questions we had. We hope to get back again soon.”
