“Property was great when we were there, the only thing that was a bummer was I think the pool pump was back flushing in the middle of the night. I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water. Also most mornings at 6:00 the pool was being filled on a timer and the pump ran for at least 4 hours at a time, so there was not much water pressure so couldn’t take a morning shower. “Super quaint little cottage, exactly what we needed. The hosts are incredibly sweet and accommodating. The view is of open farmland with mountians in the distance. The sun sets off the back of the cottage and theres a wonderful view. Really wonderful spot!”

“Check in was super easy. Got there and settled and sat in the chairs on the deck for a while. It stormed that night which was really cool to watch with the huge windows on the front. Storm came right in over the deck. Place was really nice and peaceful. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on a couple lights and the ceiling fan was a little bit of a pain to deal with but other than that absolutely awesome. Fiancé asked if we could start coming out to this place more so we will definitely be back!”

We really appreciated the ability to get to Main Street high end restaurants and an ice cream shop that had delicious flavor choices. “This is a well-kept, clean and quite getaway location. It was perfect for a couple's quick escape from the daily grind. It was perfect for the two of us and presented a very welcoming and comfortable living environment. “We had an absolutely amazing stay in Luray!!! The location was ideal in a safe quiet neighborhood and extremely close to the Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and various stores & food options. The home was completely immaculate, like a nice new hotel, and had everything perfectly staged. The rooms were able to comfortably fit everyone in our party (7). The bedding and linens provided were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice with fresh towels and good hot water pressure.……

“My partner and I had a wonderful couple days at this cabin! The views from the porch were absolutely stunning to wake up to. We loved sitting in the hot tub for a short time before hopping out to look at the stars. We’d happily stay again soon. Make sure you bring everything you need (including paper towels and extra toliet paper) along with any ingredients (we forgot olive oil to grease the pan to cook) lol. Easy to clean up everything (strip the sheets and change the trash bags) to leave it……

“We had a great time at Old Wagon Lodge. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the property manager was so nice and easy to communicate with. We had rain during our trip which was the perfect excuse to stay in all day and have a family gaming tournament in the game room. The game tables were perfect for our two boys age seven and ten. “The views from the property are amazing. The location on the river for fishing and kayaking was convenient. Very responsive owner when issues arose, he brought new grill and coffeemaker during our stay. The house is a 20 minute drive from Luray. While the inside was clean the outside is in need of some TLC, especially the porch screens.”
