“This is an awesome house for a large family. We visited with 5 toddlers and tween. The tween had fun kayaking, fishing, playing table tennis and pool. The adults lived the fact that the toddlers (who wake up at 6am) could not be heard anywhere in the house in they were in the basement. Everyone was happy. Loved the sun room! The view was amazing and was close enough to a grocery store. Amazing property!!!!”

“If historical architecture is your thing then this is the place for you! This house was gorgeous and historical while still being very comfortable and functional. There were a few minor things different from the description but all for the better due to the updates and improvements the owner has made. We had a great time shopping and eating downtown at places that were all within walking distances and enjoying the views of the other historical houses surrounding this location on our stroll. We……

“Lyons Creek is a beautiful property. It was clean, neat and as described. It was perfect for my quick family getaway. The only feedback I have would be to replace the outdoor grill. It needed some attention and was not operational. Otherwise, I would definitely rent this property again.”

“Husband and I got away with the pups. This was an excellent stay- felt so easy to have the dogs. Sometimes, I’m freaking out about the dogs ruining xyz but everything was SO dog friendly. I will warn, if you walk around the neighborhood- do not walk towards the right where the dead end road is...couple of dogs off leash and one ran at us with our dogs. The porch was awesome though- loved not having to worry about the pups! Unfortunately it rained for most of our trip but the rain sounds were……

“This is absolutely the best place to stay for a wonderful time at Lake Gaston. It is not just the very cleanest and well maintained place, the decor is soooo nice and the view from the balconies is amazing. It is clear the owners take a lot of pride in this unit and they are easily contacted should you have any questions. The dock was great and my only suggestions would be if you plan on brining a boat, like we did, bring a few extra bumpers for tying up you boat.
