“It was convenient ”

“The barn was great. The location was very close to a number of small towns that had fun things to do. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was quiet upstairs but helpful and available by text. She stopped out once to make sure the dogs weren't bothering us... They weren't. My kids loved playing fetch with them. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was so windy, but we would definitely come back next time we're in the area.”

“A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Lions Downe cabin, beautiful and expansive views up and down the river, hot tub for relaxing conversation at sun down, huge kitchen and living areas for having meals and playing games. We hope to be back again!”

“Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that. We will recommend this property to our friends and family!”

“The place was very cute in a great location. Just a couple of issues: no place to hang coats except the pantry where the coats would have been running into other items, fireplace wasnt working, bidet wast working, and when we stripped the bed we found mouse droppings. Couldnt find full bedding for the pull out couch. Couldnt find full listing of amenities in vrbo or evolve listing. When reaching out for more info, one person told me no fridge and someone else said there was a small fridge. Must……

“Such a fun place to stay! Prospect place is stocked with anything you could need and more. Everything as described by owner. Check in and out was a breeze. Walking distance to bars and restaurants was perfect for nights out. We had a great weekend celebrating friendship and life in a truly unique space.”

“The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner……

“We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!”
