“We stayed in Villas Solar for three weeks, in one of the two upstairs units, which included a large, lovely porch. The unit is quite roomy, and generally quiet despite being on the main road. The furniture and bed were comfortable and there is a decent kitchen. A communal grill is available. The complex is secured, which is nice. “This beach spot is a little slice of heaven! Definitely recommend 4wd and some perseverance to reach the spot, but this is an incredible and relatively isolated beach spot. Hans and heike live upstairs of the apartment and were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s a cute and simple little apartment with everything you need for a peaceful beach getaway.”

“We had a wonderful time in Santa Teresa. Its vibe was more yogi/surfer and more filled with singles back packing in their 20s, than families, but we found great restaurant options and had fun at the beach and pool. Beach access was across the street and the ocean was kid friendly even with red flags out. Our kids could jump in the waves and found lots of shells. We took a short car ride south to the rock pools as the tide was coming in and they really enjoyed that as well. The halfway paved……

“We had a fabulous stay! The place is gorgeous and very clean; like a suite in a 5 star resort! The kitchen is stunning and was equipped with everything we needed. The en-suite bathroom was luxuriously appointed and large. The house has amazing views of the rainforest and is very well insulated with screens covering all the doors and windows. There is a large terrace overlooking the rainforest, where we enjoyed spending time. We had an amazing experience watching a large group of vocal Howler……

We couldn’t light the grill, and someone was over within 5 minutes to assist. I’d love to go back. So relaxing.”
