“We loved using the tennis court, petting the big husky and being surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not usable and the water was not potable, but the beds were comfortable and it had everything else we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would stay again!”

“Beautiful heritage building with a quirky elevator, but I liked the character. Very large bedroom, living room, kitchen, etc. Clawfoot tub. On the negative side, next to the skytrain track so tended to hear that until trains stopped. It might get very hot in the summer, as we only had fans, no AC. Various social services nearby so some may be uncomfortable with the area. Staff were great!”

“Oscar is a gentleman and very responsive in accommodating guests' needs. The living room/kitchen area needs a little more attention eventhough they already did a good job on it (as we know there's always room for improvement). Bedrooms were great in bedding but uncomfortably cold and we didn't have control over it until I called Oscar. Overall it was a good stay I'll go back again if I'm in the area. ”

“Very nice place to stay that’s affordable (somewhat) near Vancouver. Convenience stores and bus stops are walking distance but the transit time to the city would be around a hour or so. There were also just some ants in the suite occasionally which would be my only downside but otherwise really nice and clean basement suite. ”

Had to connect with him via VRBO who got a hold of him and he told me i needed to ask VRBO support for the contact of his co-host instead of letting me know that he was going to be unresponsive. He promised me a refund which i still have not yet seen since we did not stay at his property.”

“My travelling companion has mobility issues. The street is on a hill. Parking is on the street and you can be limited at times. There are stairs from the sidewalk with no railing. Stairs to the veranda. The stair surfaces are varnished wood and slippery--with non current standard step decks size. The owner provides slippers and does not want shoes in the home. The slippers would fit my grandkids, but not me. There is no cable tv, and the TV's in each room are not smart TV's so a good deal……
