Private 2/2 half duplex | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

This cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath home is 1200 sq ft on the interior. This homes large screened-in lanai is great for sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful Florida Keys weather (without the nuisance of bugs!)  House has all new appliances, cabinets and flooring.

The master bedroom is equipped with a King size bed. When you walk through the master, you will find a guest room with two queen beds. The home has 2 bathrooms, one with a standard shower and the other with a shower/tub combo. The living room is newly upgraded with all new furniture which includes a pull-out sofa bed and a brand new large screen TV.

The property comes with a dock along a 27ft seawall. Laundry room inside the home for guest use.

Walk just minutes up the road to Coco Plum Beach where you can spend the day catching rays, observing wildlife or even beachcombing for sea glass. Be sure to check out the local deli just up the road: Cocos General Store, for daily specials as well as a great breakfast and lunch menu. (Locals swear they have the best subs!)

Although there is no cable TV, the home is equipped with smart TVs throughout. You will be expected to use your own streaming services.

This place is really cute inside but the outside areas could use some tlc. Chair cushions for the patio furniture would be a nice touch, screened door needs repair. Still a nice place, just needs some love🙂

Cozy, relaxing
Very clean, plenty of space for our family of 3. Loved sitting out by the water and in the screened porch. Lots of great dining places, recommendations by the host very helpful! Several beaches and parks close by, we loved our time at this home on Marathon Key!

Great time
Other than not receiving a text message about entering property we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had great cookware which is important to us. Most rentals use cheap nonstick cookware. Suggestions I have is a bait freezer and a cover over fish cleaning station.

A few hiccups but great communication
If half stars were possible we’d give this place a 3.5. The convenience of loading up our boat and heading out each day was great. And since we really don’t spend much time in the rental it was fine. We had a minor ant problem the first day - property mgmt was extremely responsive and had someone out right away. No more ants. Internet went out - again, property mgmt resolved immediately. Returned from a day on the water to no running water. Prop mgmt said plumber was on their way. An hour and a half later, no plumber but water miraculously worked. Minor inconveniences (except for the water issue) but really happy with the property mgmt company! This is an old house. But it was very clean. The bathrooms and ceilings show age the most. The king bed was very uncomfortable- likely a poor quality inexpensive mattress purchase for the rental. My husband and I both tried the couch but it wasn’t any better. For this reason alone we wouldn’t rent again. As a property owner ourselves, things happen and are expected. I would hire the property management company! But the recovery time from soreness and stiffness from the uncomfortable bed aren’t worth it for us.
