“We enjoyed this cozy room with its own little patio that was pretty private. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren't able to enjoy that. The room was quite chilly and had a wall heater that didn't seem connected to the thermostat but worked, just slowly. The owners should be sure that heat is turned on before guests are assigned to a particular room. There was nice quilt to add to the bed which was comfortable. A quaint place that we would return to.”

“Loved the cabin that’s been modernized. Host/owner is gracious and communicated well. Neighbor is unfriendly and does not like due to turkeys and foxes he is raising. Other neighbor we met was super sweet. VRBO distance estimate to Crested Butte is completely inaccurate, wrong and misleading. VRBO distance calculator said 25 minutes to Crested Butte… maybe by helicopter. Road from cabin to Crested Butte is closed in winter, and in summer, owner said that it’s still about an hour and thirty……

“Perfect for an extended family getaway for up to 20 people. The river is a few steps away, beautiful scenery, hot tubs are fed by natural hot springs. Exceeded our expectations! As a side note we weren't sure but there were plenty of pots & pans and the counter electric two burner was decent for cooking- plus there are propane grills, a toaster oven & microwave.”

“The staff were extremely accommodating! The rooms were great (we stayed in a suite). There are a lot of upgrading and remodeling projects underway. We went for the winter activities and it was beautiful. Access to the forest was all around.”

“This village was most adorable and conveniently located to many of the outdoor plans that we had on our itinerary. The room looked just as the advertisement and it was very clean and welcoming.
