“My family and I had wonderful stay at the "Cool House." The host were great and responded in a timely manner. We were down in L.I. for my sons baseball tournament and it was perfect located 20 minutes away from Lasorda Legacy park. It was great to wake up in the morning and see the bay from the deck. House was clean and had all the amenities.”

“The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!”

“4 families came from CA for a graduation celebration. Enough room and beds for all 10 of us. Easy access to lake. Backyard is huge, had fun playing badminton and volleyball. Also lit a fire at the fire pit one night. Managers were very responsive to our questions and requests There is a projector and we were able to watch movies at night. Pretty cool. Had a great stay.”

“We found the house to be really cute and fun to stay in. The location was excellent and we even saw a deer on our last morning! Our main issues, and why this isn’t a 5 star rating, were that multiple lighting fixtures weren’t working and there was an entire bed missing. The ad mentions “1 queen, 1 double, 4 twin’ beds however there’s really 1 queen and 4 twins. This could have caused a big problem if our group was just a bit larger. The ad should be changed to reflect the accurate information……

“This place was one of the best parts of my stay on LI. It is tucked away on a beautiful stretch of property but still close to central locations making it easy to go out for provisions. I "gifted" myself a stay here as a single-mother and former art maker. This was the first time I painted in 10+ years, the environment and the energy filled my cup to overflowing! “You have the opportunity to attend a graduation party at the Hamptons, where everyone had to find their own accommodations. The location is essentially located to town to the water and beautiful scenic paths. The host insured that the home was exceptionally clean and amenities provided. Not to mention accommodating due to last-minute change in schedule.”

“The property was misrepresented and unsafe. My parents didnt stay with us due to conditions of the property. We contacted Vacasa the rental management company and decided to leave the property and stay with friends as the windows were broken and shattered and the master bed was broken, no wifi, no functional washer and the list goes on. I expect a full refund from VRBO....I am a frequent client of VRBO and this was not acceptable. Please advise how to go about obtaining a full refund or I will……

“My family and I, rented this beautiful BNB to stay in while in town for my Grandmothers 90th Birthday. The home was exactly as pictured on the site, it was by far the cleanest and best taken care property that we have rented through VRBO! We were beyond impressed by the Host Eddie and his home! We willlllll be back!”

“This place was nice and roomy for our family of 8 plus 3 littles kiddos. Pretty clean as well. I gave listing accuracy a 5 because it is accurate but that may be because it doesn't tell you much. We were a little short on towels, many light bulbs were burnt out or just missing. We replaced some (they were there) and moved others to balance out the light. No kitchen linens, short on bath towels, short on paper towels and definitely not enough TP. 3 partial rolls and 1 bathroom had none so we had……

“Great location. Pristine beach with hardly anyone else on the beach (mid May). No shampoo or conditioner in bathrooms as reported. The house needs a bit of TLC. Could be a bit cleaner. There was sand on the floor in the master bedroom upon our arrival. It seemed like there was white dog hair on the bedspread. I dont have a dog. The dishwasher seemed like it was working but was not getting the dishes clean. I think it is time for a new dishwasher.”

“Our overall expertise was great. Home was very clean and had all the essentials you need for a nice comfortable stay. The beds were very comfy, equipped with great linens and pillows. Home was cozy and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay again.”

“We all had an amazing time. Convenience to the beach was a bonus. Spectacular views of the ocean n the bay. Plenty of space , screen doors were annoying ( but I also live on the beach and understand how beat up everything gets). Would definitely rent this house again.”
