“This hotel is on a steep hill, but the staff is very helpful in getting around with the golf carts they have on-site. Access to the beach is contained within the property, although the beach itself is a little commercialized (non-hotel people offering chairs for rent and selling souvenirs). The restaurant was lovely and the hotel itself is not too far from some very nice restaurants. The room was also very nice. As the staff mention - BEWARE of monkeys!! They WILL enter your room if you do……

“Rooms are unique and very spacious. Older facility, but lots of charm. Bathrooms are not air conditioned in the rooms. You are one with nature. Haha. Lovely balcony with rocking chairs and bath tubs. Monkey and birds everywhere on the property. We had beautiful view of adult pool and ocean. Property has several dining options and a zip line. You can walk to beach. We did! It’s a hike though. Overall, recommend!”

“Gorgeous pool and garden area! Great service. Yummy breakfast, but not buffet so plan a little extra time for made to order served breakfast. Room was comfortable pretty, and well air conditioned. Would recommend. We had regular hotel room style-2 queen beds. ”

“The View was the reason we chose this hotel. Room was ok, very simple, Pool is mini and needs repair. Restaurant was amazing!!! Room form photos looks like it had a balcony however it is just a walkway that people pass in front of. The Door to the hotel room was a sliding glass door without a standard Handle and lock. For safety you had to leave your key in the lock while inside incase there was an emergency and you needed to exit quickly. It just made it complicated for one person to be inside……

“Very kind staff, the pool is a tad deeper than one would anticipate but was sup lovely to float around in after a long hot day; yummy breakfast freshly cooked for you; great view of the ocean; beautiful macaws flying around AND a/c! Would stay here again no hesitation!”

“Positives: It was very cute. Beautiful beach and delicious food locally. The staff was nice. We appreciated having dishes and cutlery! We loved the Baguette. Great wait staff and view. Negatives: Parking was rough. Not many spaces and backing in/out was borderline dangerous. Day two we had some little spider ant looking things. Not sure if that is common or not?”
