The property is tired and could do with a refresh. They advertise WiFi access and foxtel tv. But it is only accessible in parts of the hotel and if your room is in a part where you can’t get it’s too bad. Also housekeeping did not replace condiments and face cloths or empty rubbish bins.

The property is very old and a refurbishment is due. It was the first time I experienced a power trip in a hotel, and that was three in one day!

Heating in my room not working on a cold Melbourne night. Staff brought in a small heater but I expected more for the cost and name of this hotel.

Hotel is very tired, our bathroom sink was cracked paint in the hotel was chipped. I understand that it’s a heritage listed hotel however rooms were very noisy and cold. We could hear everything on the third floor. Had only three hours sleep due to the noise. The breakfast which we paid for was very average. Had to wait 15 minutes before we were seated and then it took more than half an hour to get our food which was semi cold.
