“The six of us stayed here and enjoyed the view. Close to the airport and easy to find. There were a few hiccups, the most significant was navigating the spiral staircase to the 3 bedrooms downstairs. It was a bit shaky and you had to watch your head at the bottom around the pool table. It would have been nice to have chairs in the downstairs bedrooms and around the pool table. Kitchen was nice and there were adequate utensils. The home was heated properly and also had additional floor heat units……

“Nice location on lake. Very easy to get to airport, groc stores, downtown - all within 5 min drive. Also convenient to get to other destinations outside of Fairbanks. Great home base.”

“Nice place to stay. Neighborhood seemed weird when we first arrived but turned out to be quite and peaceful there. Apartment is as described.”

“While the surrounding properties were typical in Fairbanks, the accommodations at North Star were great. The owners were attentive, reaching out throughout my stay, to make sure all was well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully designed. The king size bed was so welcoming and comfortable as well…I would book this bnb again, simply for the great night’s sleep. TY North Star😊”

“We arrived well after sunset. It had been a long flight. I could not find the address as the numbers were almost the same color as the building. I had to use the exterior code on another building before trying the code on the correct building. After we got in the building all was well.”

“We were in town for a soccer tournament and hotel lodging was very expensive with a very limited selection. This VRBO unit was just what we needed for accessibility the soccer fields, grocery stores, and restaurants. It wasn’t fancy, but it didn’t need to be because it had all the essentials. We appreciate the hospitality.”

“This property is clean and equipped with every thing that you need. Host was very helpful and he has great communication. I would stay here again on a return to Fairbanks.”

“It was great! My family enjoyed staying there. Except, the diesel smell upon checking in & had to use a towel to block the smell from the laundry room and using the provided air freshners. The stove was pretty old, and when turned on, it sparked up, so we werent able to use the front big burner when cooking. But other than that, it was decent.”

“透過 expedia訂了兩間房，到酒店 check in時，說有一間房取消了，我們並沒有取消房間，還給他們看訂單，錢也收了，要求他們幫我們查發生什麼事，他們說是expedia出錯，幫我們取消了房間，酒店職員叫我們自己和 expedia理論，當時我們沒有賣當地電話咭，要求職員幫我們 聯絡expedia, 但他們拒絕. 問他們借擺在 櫃檯面前的電話他們不借了我們使用大堂的電話，但又說大堂電話可能打唔出，要用房間的電話，不過是收費的，我們再要求他們查清楚時，有一位高級一些職員走出玻璃序說，是 expedia 出錯 ，我們6人商議怎樣做的時候，他們又說他們解決了，整件事我們 蒙在鼓裏 另外我們向櫃檯職員約了第二天六點半送我們去火車站等 ，第二天早上另一位職員說他們是七點鐘才送 客人去火車站 ，6 點年是沒有車，白等了半個鐘。”

“Host was not expecting us on our reserved date, holding tanks were full, RV was dirty, issues not resolved, only stayed one night. Great concept but wrong person handling it. ”
