“We used the Riverton Old Post for a short stay in the middle of a long road trip between New Orleans - Oklahoma and Atlanta. It proved to be a great base to meet relatives in Miami and Joplin as we couldn't find any other suitable accommodations in those places. Our kids (ages 5-11) loved the cozy matching bedspreads, comfy couch, indoor & outdoor games, and the path down to the river. “The property was amazing, just a few things kept me fro. Saying exceptional. 1. No internet, it was out and no tech, have a teenage daughter who expected intrrnet, but we made due. 2. Grill was dirty and replacement smelled bad. New grills on order though. Staff was attentive, very polite, and their breakfast buffet is amazing! No matter what time you came in for breakfast food was hot. We really enjoyed our stay, just maybe next time partake in the watercraft. Look forward to a……

“This place is definately on our favorites list. The view is outstanding. The patio is large. Grill is great. Furniture is comfortable. Tables inside and out are large. Kitchen well stocked. Roads are paved and not steep. No stairs. Beds OK. Only thing lacking are grab bars in master bath. We will definitely be back. Mom loved her mothers day trip with her kids. She is 86 and we are over 60. We played games, watched tv, sat on patio for hours, shopped, ate lots and slept. What more could you……
