“We had a really nice stay at this place (3 Adults, 3 children). Directly at the beach, also a lot of nice restaurants near by (easy to access them by foot…). Staff was really friendly, everything was clean and well managed. The environment is also kept in good shape and with a focus on small details. Would go their again.”

“Excellent stay - have stayed before at McDonald Villacana resort, but needed to be a little closer to Calahonda this time. The apartment we had was on the first floor with a sea view from the balcony. The apartment was larger than expected and had a large balcony too (big enough for a table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers without being cramped). An added bonus was the washing machine in the apartment. Food in the restaurant was great - wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend.”

“Quite good as before. The property is bit worn out but still in decent condition. Everything is well cleaned so this is very positive thing and compensates the worn out condition. Breakfast is available and decent in Spanish standards. The only big minus is the outdoor pool. It was again out of order due to maintenance. This was not communicated neither by Hotels.com nor the hotel. This was already 2nd time for us (and last time it was still there it. Was freezing cold). All and all we will……

“Ravissant appartement, bien équipé. Les chambres sont très confortables. La résidence est calme et très bien entretenue, et les résidents très agréables également. La proximité avec la plage est un atout, de plus celle-ci est très calme aussi et l'eau est magnifique.”

“We had a great holiday but thought the apartment could have been cleaner. Looking under the bed and sofa and fridge shown that it had not been given a proper clean. Also around the bottom of the shower cubicle. There was a mop and bucket but no cleaning products. A cleaner and fresh linen half way through the holiday would have been a nice touch. Some other niggles were, only one and a half toilet rolls for both of us for the 11 days we were there (we had to buy some), just one bath towel each……

“Another lovely stay at the apartment. Location is fantastic and minutes walk to bars, supermarkets, restaurants etc. 7 mins walk to the beach and bus stop to marbella or fuengirola. The apartment is spacious and a home from home in a well maintained residential building. Sun on the balcony in the mornings & lots of home comforts. We hope to return again soon. Fiona and Sue were wonderful. Thank you!”
