It is close to were I was working and close to the town and by the waterfront with plenty of places to eat and drink. I have stayed at TY before for many months for work in the local area

4 star rated hotel but definately lacking in customer service when something goes wrong. Was allocated room with dirty bedsheets, and reception offered to refund breakfast for the inconvenience but never happened. Also the £1 deposit charged at the time of booking which is meant to be refunded also didn’t happen. Impossible to get through to someone after checkout. Restaurant food also overpriced for quality of food.

We always want our guests to have a pleasant stay away.Our guest services team work very hard for all of our guests and it is upsetting to see that the standards of service did not meet the expectations of the business on this occasion.For clarity, regarding breakfast, as the booking was made via a third party, the request for a refund on the breakfast needs to be made through the website you booked through. Our apologies if this was not made clear to yourself. We are of course still happy to approve this once a request comes through from the third party.In regards to the 1 on your card, the usual holding amount is 50 as laid out on the booking websites. Having looked over the reservation, we can see this has now released from us and should have dropped back into your available balance. Please note this will not show as a refund and will just drop back into your available balance as this was only a pending transaction and not a charge to the card. Regarding the cleanliness, this has been relayed back to the linen company and to our housekeeping team to help improve the standards of service and cleanliness that we provide to our guests.Thank you for taking the time to feed back your thoughts to us. Nice hotel, lovely location and great staff. The food was the only thing that let it down a little, as that was ok but could have been better

The reception demand a security deposit of £50. You do not get a receipt of acknowledgement of the payment. The printer is broken (my first and second visit) so an email receipt will be sent to you email later. 1. The rate charged is mor than agreed at the time of booking. 2. There is no mention of the security deposit on the receipt. 3. Will I be given a refund as I did not charge anything to the room, and the receipt does not acknowledge they have the money. Very unhappy with the financial aspect of this hotel.

All the staff were lovely! Hotel rooms spacious, also still felt fresh and new. Evening meal was excellent!!
