The room smelt like smoke. The front desk said there was nothing they could do and all rooms were non smoking. They claimed the hotel was overbooked and that they could not move us to another room. We opened the balcony door to let fresh air in. Then the door would not close. Maintenance came and fixed the door. The front desk said they would give us 10,000 Hilton honors points. One week later there are no points on my account. Overall, very frustrating experience and the staff seemed apathetic and failed to follow through on their small token compensation.

It's unacceptable that your room smelled like smoke and that our team didn't provide a better solution. I've personally looked into it and ensured the points will be credited to your account as soon as we confirm all the information needed. The place was beautiful and the breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed was too. I liked how the restaurant was inside the hotel, that way you can just order instead of going out. The front deck lady was kinda rude, so the wait for registration was long. After we checked in, we decided to go to the pool (the pool was small) and the water was very salty. There were no pool towels so we had to ask for some. All the other staffs were great though. Even the housekeepers.

The hotel was nice and clean, I was a little frustrated when I paid for the hotel and then at ck in I had to pay taxes and parking ( when on the website it stated free parking) late night staff where not very helpful as I got double charged on the fee, but the morning staff at ck out were very helpful and explained What the $81 was for and got the double charge taken care of. Also breakfast was amazing!

The breakfast and happy hour were great, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The rooms definitely need some maintenance: the dining area sink faucet was damaged, there was chipped paint in the bathroom.
