“Place was as described. There is a pull out couch in the living room that gave good privacy from the other bedroom that has the queen size bed in it. Nicely placed night lights helped navigate to the bathroom. Had a delightful stay”

“I rented the property for a leadership retreat for work. There were 7 of us who stayed for two nights. The property was super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the view to the river was beautiful! The train does run nearby so if you are a lighter sleeper, you may hear it. The first night we did, the second night no one in my party did. Greg was a super responsive host when we had an issue, and was quick to resolve it. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home for your……

“The Backwaters Cottage was very cute, very well equipped and perfect for our weekend! It's walking distance from restaurants and the river and the back patio is lovely for your morning cup of tea!”

“It fit our needs, we were ven dors at Ashley for the Arts. We didn't spend any time there. It was a bit pricey for a bedroom and a bathroom. Getting in and out of the clawfoot tub was a challenge without anything to hold onto. Very clean, basic accomidations.”

“We had a comfortable overnight here while visiting family in Winona. The pictures don’t exactly show what a unique place it is. Post-war prefab housing, lovingly preserved like a time-capsule. We had a great time. Bring your own coffee.”
