“Great tiny house for a stay upstate. Check in was easy and the place is clean!”

“Very nice little cabin for a weekend away. Hot tub was nice to use after a day of hiking. The kitchen had the essentials (no seraded knives, so bring that if you’re cutting anything). I slept in the loft and the bed was comfortable. The ladder rungs are rounded and not flat so those hurt my feet going up - wearing some rubber soled slippers could alleviate that but I didn’t bring those. The hosts were great at communicating. ”

“The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away.”

“My husband and I didn’t think there were any more old-fashioned “tourist cabins” left along America’s secondary highways. They were ubiquitous in the 1940’s and 50’s. We were happy to find this immaculate, comfortable cabin enclave near the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge in Orange County and enjoyed our short stay. The family who started the business - in the 1920’s! - is featured along with framed archival postcards on the walls, reminding us that this business is a rare survivor of the kinds of……

Property was just right for my husband and I to enjoy a long weekend get away, though minor issues found when we arrived (had to wash dishes prior to use as they were visibly soiled; propane tank on grill was almost empty causing us to have to use oven - but the burners need adjusting, and there was smoke/soot produced and the smoke alarms went off even with all the windows and door opened; towels were damp, as if they had not finished……

“We loved our stay in this adorable, immaculate cabin. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, nifty set up with the projector for TV watching. While we did not get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit area due to rain, that only means we will be back! We had a stellar meal at Aroma Thyme, a very good/solid dinner at the Mexican place in Ellenville, and LOVED our breakfast and pastries to go at Cohen’s Bakery. Thanks for a lovely place!”

“The heat was unbearable. The description did not indicate that there were no AC units at least in the bedrooms. We ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon because we could not spend a 2nd night not being able to sleep because of the high temperature.”

“Three nights here as we toured the area. Check in was easy. We were able to access the VRBO app 30 minutes prior to our arrival. By the time we reached the driveway, Ruben had sent the access code.The road to the house is gravel and only wide enough for one car.
