What a nightmare! I read a bunch of bad reviews before I left, and my first day on property, I felt that the reviews were inappropriate. We met some really amazing staff who were friendly and went out of their way to speak with us and assist us. That was day one. It went downhill quickly!!! The breakfast bay on Mother’s Day morning was despicable! Food was disgusting, and edible and not celebratory in any way shape or form. Unfortunately, I felt that way every time I went there. Mystery food! I Empty food, dishes not replenished!! Four mornings and no Ackee and saltfish!!! When you called the front desk, you got an answering machine and it took about two hours for to hear back from anybody. Our room was clean and made up without any towels whatsoever. Return from a very long day and needed to shower. Front desk told us they didn’t have the key to the linen closet so they couldn’t help us!?! Are you kidding me? No ice at the bar so no drinks could be made!!! Many of the staff were disgruntled, likely because they were dealing with disgruntled guests!!! I frequent Jamaica and I’m there 3 to 5 times per year and have never had this experience at any other resort I’ve been to. They are sitting on a damn gold mine! Due to miss Management at so many levels, this place is being run into the ground!
