“The grounds, service, room and restaurant were absolutely perfect!”

“My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff and a delicious welcome drink. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a peaceful stream running in the back. It was so amazing sitting on the balcony and refreshing your feet after a long day exploring and adventuring. The restaurant was amazing and had a ton of options for vegetarians like myself. The food and cocktails were DELICIOUS and the service was immaculate! We had relaxing massages on site……

“Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. ”

“This is a simple and cute property in Monteverde, not far from the town (as long as you have a car). The staff is very friendly and helped us book all of our tours. The breakfast was also excellent. Our favorite part about the property were the animals we saw. Toucanets, hummingbirds, and lots of other small birds and mammals were roaming around - what a treat!”

“Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes……

“Very friendly and accommodating host - Marleny and family. Clean and friendly place with much information about local tours, eating places, and organized transport to and from San Jose. Great kitchen facilities! and Marleny prepared us a delicious breakfast, for US$7. Comfortable rooms and very clean. The location is noisy on weekends, especially at night, with passing traffic on the main road.”

“Beautiful, faciltiy. We stayed in the Forest Deluxe room which was larger and a bit further back from the road. The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store. It's a short 2-3 block walk to the town square. ”
