“I loved Valle Escondido Nature Reserve Hotel & Farm. The rooms in the hotel are spacious and had great amenities. The walks around the farm and surrounding area were beautiful. The staff and food were great. I also recommend the guided night tour.”

“This is a simple and cute property in Monteverde, not far from the town (as long as you have a car). The staff is very friendly and helped us book all of our tours. The breakfast was also excellent. Our favorite part about the property were the animals we saw. Toucanets, hummingbirds, and lots of other small birds and mammals were roaming around - what a treat!”

“I woke up at 3 am to drive to National Park Manuel Antonio since my animal-watching tour had been moved to the early morning. After telling the hosts I would check out very early, they prepared fresh-made breakfast and hot coffee for me to go (including toast, tropical fruits, eggs, and cookies). That is 3:30 in the morning! That warm breakfast made me feel heartwarming while driving in the darkness. Definitely recommend this nice place!”

“Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes……

“這次我訂了一個沒浴室及廁所的房間，房間整潔，床也很舒服，唯一問題是通風不好，但因為在山區比較清涼所以可以接受，酒店的大堂有全日咖啡供應，同時服務人員亦會為你解答所有有關附近的旅遊資訊，他們態度友善。早餐有兩種選擇，一是水果乳酪及多士，另一我忘了是什麼，反正味道不太差。 不知道是碰巧定長期問題，我住的期間wifi接收不太好要在接待處用taco taco的。”

“Very friendly and accommodating host - Marleny and family. Clean and friendly place with much information about local tours, eating places, and organized transport to and from San Jose. Great kitchen facilities! and Marleny prepared us a delicious breakfast, for US$7. Comfortable rooms and very clean. The location is noisy on weekends, especially at night, with passing traffic on the main road.”
