“It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views.”

“We recently stayed at Rose Retreat (Ash Mountain) in Three Rivers, CA, for our trip to Sequoia National Park, and it was absolutely perfect for our stay. Lori and John were fantastic hosts, keeping us informed about the road closure within the park, which had little impact on our trip thanks to their thoughtful updates. “The property is in an area with no service so the only thing you are reliant on is the Wi-Fi. The power generator went out on the second day and we were left with no electricity or service to make any calls. When we went to the emergency address listed in there no one opened the door. Overall very dangerous and unsafe, critters everywhere in the house.”

“We found these accommodations to be just what we were looking for while staying in Sequoia. The kitchen and living area were modern and spacious with beautiful views. There was plenty of privacy. The host was friendly and easy to contact. Being inside the park was a plus as we stayed for a week and did not have to re-enter each day. It was convenient to a Visitor Center, hiking trails, points of interest, and also shopping in Three Rivers. So happy we found this place for our visit to another……

“We had a lovely time there, easy access to the river was a big plus for us. I was able to do a polar bear plunge, it was awesome! We had deer right there one morning and sat out there with our coffee watching them. I will point out though, the water pressure was very low and not much hot water, no back to back showers! Overall, happy with our stay!”

“This property meet all of our needs. The property was well-maintained. The full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - dishes, pans, salt & pepper, incidental cooking supplies. Appliances were full size. Coffee maker, blender, refrigerator were all clean and ready to use. The gas grill on the patio was spotless and had gas! The three bedrooms all had comfortable queen beds. Bathrooms included shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer. Communication with Mark was over-the-top excellent!……

“Amazing cabin in a perfect location. Nice lot, off grid class, great views. And close enough to the National Forest to let us get there before most traffic.”

“Nice place to sit on the porch and watch the birds and wildlife. Cabin is very cold as far as touches, cookware very old, few utensils, nothing else. Bed is good. Outside is great.”
