“This cabin was perfect for our family for a long weekend. During the day we had access to multiple swimming pools and lake-front beaches, with beach toys and floaties provided in the shed. At night we enjoyed grilling our dinner and making use of the fire pit in the front yard (especially after the kids were in bed). This was really ideal for our first vacation in the Poconos and we would definitely come back.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay for our 15th anniversary this weekend. The carriage house was clean and cozy. Out in the woods but not too far away from town. 10/10 would recommend!”

“We had a great stay at the Rustic Modern Tiny Home! It was a good size for our family, two adults and two teenagers. The loft is small, but even our very tall son was able to sleep up there with no issues. The location was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a great treat! Only a ~15 min easy drive from Jim Thorpe. The home was in great condition and check-in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The place was super cute and had all the amenities we were looking for. I would recommend a better cleaning service. The stove had a spray all over that that seems like it was forgotten to be taken off. And the fridge smelled very bad. The heat in the basement was non existent and it was hard to figure out the heaters. Aside from that our stay was very nice and comfortable.”

This property fit the bill. All of my contact was with “Lacy” the owner who lives nearby and was readily accessible through text as well as very knowledgeable as to the history of the area, places to dine etc. The house had all the quiet comforts and we plan to stay there again. “Overall, it was a very nice experience and the owners did an excellent job of making the cabin feel very homely. The cabin and property are so beautiful and everything from food, towels, firewood, and more were so kindly provided for us. We only had a couple minor complaints. The kids were excited about the treehouse but that was under construction and we were not made aware until we arrived on the property. Also, the AC was not set up before we arrived, so it was hot at night when we were……

“We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! ”

“We had a great time at this house. It was a last minute getaway for my wife’s birthday. Debbie the property owner contacted me immediately after booking and made the process so simple. She even bought my wife a cake and left in the refrigerator for us when we arrived! The house is awesome and it is an awesome location. Would absolutely rent from Debbie again. “Property as advertised, in a community, many deer in yards in neighborhood. Not far from Poconos attractions like Hickory Run State Park. Recommend for dog owners, great to be able to let out in large fenced in yard and not worry about it. Owner communicated and was responsive.”

“The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. “Our 2-night stay at this cabin was absolutely fantastic! The host was amazing, providing us with recommendations for various activities around the area. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for an incredible weekend with friends or family. We enjoyed the BBQ, hot tub, and the 10/10 fire pit. The kitchen was stocked with spices and everything to enhance our BBQ experience. There were plenty of board games to keep us entertained indoors and loads of outdoor games to enjoy in the……
